Wednesday, January 17, 1900: One hundred and twenty-five years ago today, The Knoxville Sentinel reported news with a dateline from Johnson City. Readers learned that “Geo. T. Williams, of Milligan, (sic for Milligan College), Tenn., and J. C. Kingsley, of Greeneville, Tenn., are at the Greenwood Hotel.”
