Wednesday, February 7, 1900: One hundred and twenty-five years ago today, The Knoxville Sentinel reported several brief news accounts with a dateline from Johnson City. Readers were advised that “O. E. Mahony, J. W. Park, John A. Jobe, Robert A. Lowery and Charles Lemon, of Knoxville, are among the visitors in this city.”
