News from here and there, a banking problem in Telford
Tuesday, March 20, 1900: One hundred and twenty-five years ago today, The Knoxville Sentinel reported news with a dateline from Johnson City. Readers learned that “Capt. W. H. Henderson, who has had charge of the foundry work at Embreeville, is at home here, since that plant was destroyed by fire. He says he is not fully informed just what will be done about rebuilding the shops and foundry at that place.”
