Wednesday, November 4, 1925: A century ago today, the Johnson City Staff-News alerted readers that “Reports made by Engineer P. F. McDonald as to the present condition of paving in Johnson City done during the past several years, have been made separately as to each district, pointing out any defects which he may have found, or showing the paving to be in good condition, as the case may be, and in each instance the length of time which the paving has been used is indicated.
