Happenings in and around Johnson City
Tuesday, September 8, 1925: A century ago today, the Johnson City Chronicle reported several short items of interest to readers; these items were primarily social in nature. Readers learned that “Mrs. (sic for Mr.) and Mrs. John S. Brush, of Winston-Salem, N. C., were wwekk-end (sic for weekend) guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Forman, 612 W. Poplar street (sic for Street) while en route to Knoxville.”
