Thursday, October 4, 1900: One hundred and twenty-five years ago today, The Comet reported several short news items of interest to local readers. The following initially appeared in The Journal and Tribune: “Ex-Gov. Robert L. Taylor and family returned to the city yesterday and are now occupying their handsome residence, 808 North Fourth avenue (sic for Avenue).
