Thursday, March 1, 1900: One hundred and twenty-five years ago today, The Comet reported several short news accounts of interest to, and pertaining to, area residents. A couple of advertisements were also included in the offerings. Some of them included the following: “Mrs. E. S. Moore has the agency for the life of D. L. Moody, written by his son.”

“Mr. Brownlow has introduced a bill to pay Washington College a $10,000 war claim.”
