Tuesday, May 22, 1900: One hundred and twenty-five years ago today, The Coshocton Age reported news with a dateline from Johnson City and a date from May 26 (in error), readers learned that “The Democrats of the First Tennessee District nominated E. C. Reeves of Johnson City for Congress, to oppose Congressman Brownlow.”
The Coshocton Age was published in Coshocton, Ohio from 1889 to 1914.
