Wednesday, August 11, 1926: One hundred years ago today, the Johnson City Chronicle reported that “Mr. and Mrs. Ray F. Shephard of South Bend, Ind., are visiting Mr. Shephard’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Shephard, West Walnut street (sic for Street).
