Sunday, December 16, 1900: One hundred and twenty-five years ago today, The Chattanooga Sunday Times reported several short news items in a column entitled “Social News of Near-By Towns”. Readers learned that “The family of Henry E. Crouch has moved here from Washington, D. C., for the winter. Mr. Crouch holds a government position in that city, and will only be with his family on occasional visits.”
